This has been a challenging time for so many. I have had a heavy heart knowing so many parents have missed out on professionally documenting their maternity, births, newborns, and milestones, and couples being forced to revamp their entire weddings. I hope you know with every email written between the two of us, I have felt your loss deeply.
Please note, these FAQ answers are subject to change as more announcements are made and we are given more clarity or progression in our second wave of COVID-19.
Here are a few questions that have come up as emails have been flowing in over the last few days, as of November 2020 new restrictions.
- Are you physically distancing during sessions? Yes, to ensure the safety of your family I am I will be keeping my distance throughout our sessions. I typically am quite hands-on so this is the biggest change for me. As for close up images, I will be sure to wear a mask if I need to come within 6 feet of you.
- What sessions are you offering? I am currently offering indoor and outdoor immediate family, newborn, and maternity sessions. I am also photographing 2021 small weddings that are following BC COVID guest size protocols.
- What sessions are you NOT offering? I am currently unable to offer births, extended family shoots, in-hospital Fresh 48, and larger weddings.
- What is your COVID protocol? I will be wearing a mask through all of our indoor sessions, ensuring I am socially distancing the best I can and will be sure to wear a mask when I need to come closer, as well as using hand sanitizer through out our session and asking clients to do a full health assessment on themselves the day of our session (as I will be doing the same for myself).
- What if I don’t feel well the day of our session? If you are not feeling well the day of our session, I ask you to just give me a call and we will easily reschedule your shoot with no rebooking fees.
